ThisUPScontainsLETHAL VOLTAGES.Allrepairsand service should beperformed
byAUTHORIZED SERVICE PERSONNEL ONLY. Thereare NO USER
SERVICEABLE PARTS inside theUPS.
CAUTION
Batteriescan present a riskof electricalshockor burnfrom highshortcircuit
current.Observeproper precautions.
Proper disposalof batteriesisrequired.Refer to your localcodesfor disposal
requirements.
ThisUPScontainsitsown energysource (batteries).The outputreceptaclesmay
carrylivevoltageeven when theUPS is not connected toan ACsupply.
Neverdisposeofbatteriesinafire.Batteriesmayexplodewhenexposedtoflame.
Neveropen or mutilatebatteries. Released electrolyte isharmfulto the skin and
eyes,and maybe extremelytoxic.
Useonlythepower supplycord providedwith thisUPS.Thepower cordiswiredin
accordancewithNationalElectricalCode (NEC) specifications. Be sure thewall
outletto be used with the UPS iswiredin accordance with these same
specificationsin orderto avoid damageto yourequipment.Besure that
overcurrent protectionfor the AC outlet isprovidedat the time ofinstallation. Be
surethe inputplug iscompletelyinserted intothe walloutlet.Useasingle-phase,
three-wire,grounded ACoutlet only.
To reducethe riskof fireor electricshock,installthisUPSina temperature and
humiditycontrolled,indoorenvironment,freeofconductivecontaminants.Ambient
temperature mustnot exceed 104 F(40C).Donot operate nearwater or
excessive humidity (95% max).
